Bartender

Beckon is seeking an exemplary bar-chef & beverage professional to co-manage our cocktail program and assist our team on the floor during service.  This position is first and foremost a culinarily savvy and hospitality minded professional who loves service but also happens to be efficient, creative and knowledgeable behind the bar. Responsibilities of this position include:-Co-creating a short menu of cocktails that are relevant to our aesthetic. - Full attention to the tasting menu, wine pairings and by the glass options, and the knowledge needed to speak confidently of them at all times.- Participation in service as a bartender as well as host, as an assistant to the front servers, and able to deliver courses with full description. A jack of all trades.  -Co-creating and maintaining our current No-Alcohol and spirit-based bar pairing offerings, creating delicious and thoughtful zero beverages to be paired with each new food menu change, monitoring each week's reservations, and their specific dietary requirements, and serving the pairings on time with each course during service.   We would like for your work history to be vibrant and meaningful.  A well-rounded resume with experience in all facets of FOH hospitality, lengthy stays of employment and employment with restaurant groups that are geared towards an exceptional experience are proof of your dedication and interest.  Please apply only if you think this is you.
