No nights/weekends/holidays/callWant to learn more: Chat with Sunshine Ly at sunshine.ly@emplifyhealth.orgJob Description:The Interventional Radiology Program Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator is a member of the cardiovascular team providing care for medical/surgical patients and families. Serves as a resource to surgical staff, nursing, and other patient care providers. The main function is to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate care of patients referred for interventional radiology/vascular procedures. Works with referring physicians to facilitate promotion and access for potential patients needing such care. Responsible for patient, family, staff, and community education. Coordinator works under the guidance and direction of Interventional Radiologists and Interventional Cardiologists.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required. (Note: The above specialty area may hire an internal Associate degree (ADN) candidate who is actively enrolled/enrolling in a BSN completion program. The RN must complete their BSN within five years of their transition date to the RN role/specialty department. The RN will remain in Clinic RN job code 223 until they complete their BSN.) The Bachelor's degree requirement may be waived for existing Diploma and ADN RNs based on guidelines established by leadership.RN license in the state of practice required (RN must practice under the law and regulations governing nursing in the state of practice).
