Drinking Water Project Engineer (Mid-Level)
Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Drinking Water Project Engineer for our Sacramento, California office. Key ResponsibilitiesYour role will include, project engineering/management, design, planning, operational support with a focus on drinking water/reuse projects (e.g., surface water, groundwater, and recycled water treatment).Serve as task lead and deputy project manager on projects under the supervision of the project manager.Supporting proposal development.Mentor junior staff and provide review of their work products.Coordination and collaboration with clients.Coordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery.Manage project tasks, scope, and schedules for smaller projects or specific components of larger projects to meet client requirementsPrepare comprehensive construction documents including drawings and specifications for water treatment projectsLead technical writing for technical memorandum, master plans, basis of design reports and preliminary design reportsProvide engineering services during construction, including responding to RFIs (Request for Information), reviewing submittals, and conducting site visits to observe progressSupporting projects to meet client expectations, budgets, and quality requirements.Following internal Hazen processes to ensure quality delivery of engineering projects for clients.
