Job Description Company DescriptionFleet Collision Services is a family-owned, independent commercial vehicle collision repair shop located in Greeley Colorado. We are in the business of restoring not only vehicles, but also peace of mind after unsettling collision events. Our dedicated technicians work to efficiently return fleet trucks and vans, box trucks, semi-trucks, and municipal/construction vehicles to their original operating condition. These vehicles are critical to the livelihood of our customers and every minute of downtime means lost money.Position SummaryThe Auto Body Technician is responsible for reviewing shop worksheets, removing, repairing, or replacing damaged parts, prepping vehicles for refinish, and washing the vehicles before and after the repair is completed. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and take on more responsibility as our business grows. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Reviewing shop worksheets and estimatesVehicle teardown and parts supplementsRepairing/replacing damaged partsEffectively communicating with other technicians and office team to complete tasksRoutine shop organization, cleaning, and upkeepAssist with estimates and customer interactionMust feel comfortable working as a team and independently to complete jobsMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)1 year of collision repair experience or an auto body-related degreeGeneral knowledge of fleet vehiclesAbility to work with multiple parties to complete a jobAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to learn quickly and portray a strong work ethicBenefits$18-24 per hourDiscretionary annual bonusMedical coverageCompany match IRA6 paid holidays, 5 vacation days (10 after 3 years of employment) Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
