Job description: As a Residential Behavioral Specialist, you will: Provide daily care, supervision, and support to youth in a therapeutic family-style home setting. Teach and model positive coping skills, life skills, and healthy decision-making. Build meaningful, professional relationships with youth, families, and care teams. Encourage growth through structure, consistency, and compassion. Implement treatment goals and support youth toward success and independence. Maintain accurate documentation and follow agency and state standards. Prepare meals according to specific dietary requirements and preferences, ensuring nutritious and balanced meals are provided. Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote interaction, engagement, and the well-being of residents. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and minor maintenance tasks. Transport residents to appointments, community events, or other activities outside the home, ensuring their safety and adherence to schedules. What You Bring A heart for helping youth and a belief in second chances. High School Diploma or GED (some college or human services experience preferred). At least 25 years of age and able to pass a background check and physical. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Flexibility, teamwork, and professionalism in a dynamic environment.
