Pool Attendant

Location: South Park, PAType: Part Time - SeasonalRate: $12/hrRequirements: High School or GED (Preferred)We are hiring for a pool attendant for Lindenbrooke Apartments.Role & ResponsibilitiesAs the Pool Attendant your responsibilities will include:Tests and balances pool chemicals. Documents as required by state and local regulationsCleans and vacuums pool, cleans skimmer baskets, backwashes pool filters, and skims the pool with skimmer as neededMonitors residents entering and exiting the pool area. Ensures the state capacity is not exceededEnsures all posted pool rules are being adhered toEnsures safety equipment is present and in working order. Checks first aid kit for needed supplies on a daily basisCleans and maintains pool bathroom daily, including keeping them stocked with supplies and free of standing waterSweeps the pool deck and all surrounding areas dailyStraightens pool furniture regularly, ensuring that furniture is clean and in working order at all timesReports any non-working or damaged furniture to the Community Manager or immediate supervisorGardens and removes weeds in commons areas as neededOther duties as assignedCleans the clubhouse and surrounding common areas as neededAbout YouYou might be a great fit for this role if you have:A work permit or are 18 years of age or older Ability to endure seasonal temperaturesFlexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hoursAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsGood verbal communication skillsBasic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internetWho We AreBerger Communities embraces a strong organizational structure that drives a quality living environment for our residents, and a desirable place of employment for our team members.
