Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a rewarding setting supporting preschool-age students with special education needs. This on-site contract opportunity allows you to work itinerantly across the New Oxford and Gettysburg areas, serving children ages 3 to 5 as part of an established preschool program. You'll have all the tools and core materials provided—including a laptop, iPad, and access to digital resources like Lesson Pix—so you can focus on making a difference in each child's communication journey.What you'll bring:Active Pennsylvania SLP license (must be submitted with resume)Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows will be considered with required supervision arrangementPrevious pediatric or early childhood experience preferred; school-based background a plusAbility to travel between sites within the program's area as an itinerant SLPCommitment to on-site, in-person services (no virtual assignments available)Comfort working independently with support from a collaborative educational teamDay-to-day impact:Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschoolers (ages 3–5) with a range of communication needsConduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and consult with staff and familiesCollaborate closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teamsDocument progress and complete paperwork efficiently, with dedicated weekly paperwork timeMaintain partnerships with families and support positive student outcomesEnjoy a schedule that supports your work-life balance: work 188 days during the academic year following the preschool stretch calendar, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, not exceeding 35 hours per week.Step into this valued role and help young learners build essential communication skills.
