Design Technology Specialist - GIS

We are an Autodesk Platinum Partner and an Esri Silver that consults with manufacturers, architects, civil engineers, oil and gas owners and operators, and many others to design better products and get to market faster by leveraging best-in-class engineering, design, process automation, and data management technologies. We are seeking a Design Technology Specialist, who is passionate about working with the latest technologies in the Esri GIS product line and has a desire to help design firms work more efficiently and effectively. This position will leverage your knowledge and real-world experience by implementing and delivering Esri GIS solutions and workflows, consulting, demonstrating, training, and supporting the latest Esri GIS technologies. Our ideal candidate must be an experienced Esri GIS professional who is ready to put their expertise to work by leveraging cutting edge Esri GIS software (such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, various connectors for Autodesk products). JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize Esri products such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise systems to assist clients in managing and analyzing their spatial data Provide expert consultation and support to clients on GIS and Esri products Develop and implement Esri GIS workflows for clients Develop and deliver customized training programs for clients on GIS and Esri products Participate in client meetings and presentations Stay up to date on the latest developments and trends in GIS and Esri products Work with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and potential clients Collaborate with other teams and departments within the company to ensure that clients' needs and concerns are being met QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Esri products Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or related field preferred. Strong technical background with experience in GIS and Esri products Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically Ability to work independently and in a team environment Passion for GIS and training Strong analytical and data visualization skills PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Client-facing skills - including a dynamic personality and an ability to interact with all levels of an organization Willing to grow, be coachable, and open to being challenged in a constructive spirit of growth and success Arcade, Python, ArcGIS API for Python, or FME experience Geodatabase design, maintenance, and versioning experience Knowledge of CAD to GIS/BIM to GIS workflows a plus ArcGIS Indoors, Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus Upon request, ability to provide related work portfolio of recent project experience LOCATION & TERRITORY: D3 will provide the required computer systems and software Report to a D3 office if there is one located within 50 miles of your home address Accommodation and requirements for Remote-Worker-Exception Manager approval Home address exceeds 50 miles from the closest D3 office Dedicated Home Office Quiet location, free from distractions Reliable High-Speed Internet with minimum performance of Download 10 Mbps & Upload 5 Mbps Observe standard hours of operations This is a non-reimbursable expense, consult your tax preparer for potential deductions.
