The Office Manager is the operational backbone of the campus and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional parent experience while ensuring smooth, efficient internal operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced academic environment.The ideal candidate is proactive, calm under pressure, highly organized, and deeply service-oriented. They take ownership of operational details while maintaining a welcoming, professional environment for families and staff. They anticipate needs, solve problems quickly, and ensure systems run smoothly so that the academic team can focus on instruction.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for families, ensuring a warm, professional, and responsive experienceSupervise and support front desk staff responsible for handling incoming callsMaintain phone and email response standards to ensure timely and clear communicationOversee the enrollment and evaluation pipeline, ensuring follow-through and clean handoffsMaintain strong, consistent communication with the Principal regarding parent concerns and updatesManage dismissal flow and ensure safety protocols are executed consistently and effectivelyEnsure scheduling accuracy across classes, rooms, and staff assignmentsOversee Blackbaud follow-ups and system updatesTrack and monitor student attendanceReview and verify teacher timecards for accuracyConsolidate and reconcile the Principal's credit card expensesMaintain organization of office supplies, instructional materials, and inventoryExecute logistics for competitions, parent events, and academic programsConfirm vendors and manage event coordination detailsTrack and manage RSVP listsTrack competition results and ensure timely entry of scores and follow-upsQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience1-3 years of office management or administrative experienceExcellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to learn new systems and software quicklyStrong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organizational and time management skillsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilityCustomer-service mindset with strong listening skillsAbility to handle confidential information professionallyBenefits:RSM offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees to support your health, well-being, and financial future.
