Strategic Growth Coordinator (Business Development)
We are currently partnered with an experiential marketing agency that is looking for a Strategic Growth Coordinator to support New Business Development. This position is on-site in NYC 4 days per week, Tuesdays remote. About the Role: The Strategic Growth Coordinator serves as the connective tissue across the business development function — bridging commercial strategy, creative storytelling, and strategic research. This role is ideal for someone energized by discovery, drawn to the craft of pitching, and passionate about building meaningful client relationships that extend beyond a single project.This person thrives at the earliest stages of engagement: leading initial conversations, understanding prospective clients’ businesses, goals, and challenges, and identifying where they sit within their competitive landscape. From there, they play a key role in shaping thoughtful, compelling responses to new opportunities — not simply answering a brief, but crafting a narrative that resonates. They understand that how ideas are framed is just as important as the ideas themselves.The role also helps shape how the company presents itself externally, stewarding capabilities materials and brand collateral in a way that is not only informative, but visually polished, compelling, and reflective of a high creative standard.RESPONSIBILITIESNew Business & PipelineSupport the Chief Innovation Officer and VP of Business Development across the full new business lifecycle — from initial outreach and inbound inquiries through discovery, pitch, close, and post-project case study captureLead pipeline management for all inbound and outbound business development activity, ensuring the CRM (Monday.com) remains accurate, organized, and up to date at all timesEnsure every lead has clear ownership, every deal has a defined next step, and every opportunity is tracked through completionPitch & CollateralOwn the development of pitch responses — curating case studies, shaping narratives, and articulating strategic thinking in a way that is original, differentiated, and compellingBuild and maintain capabilities materials, one-sheets, and pitch collateral, ensuring all materials are visually polished and aligned with the company’s creative standardsPrepare and hand off materials to pitch producers, setting them up for successful executionResearch & RelationshipsConduct in-depth research on prospective clients, including their business, competitive landscape, recent activity, and potential needs, to help inform business development conversationsSupport relationship management across key accounts, nurturing long-term partnerships and building trust with clients over timeOperations & CommunicationCoordinate schedules, communications, and meeting logistics for the business development team, including calendar management, meeting preparation, note-taking, and follow-upParticipate in client calls and pitch meetings as needed, contributing to discussions and capturing key takeawaysContribute to weekly pipeline stand-ups, monthly growth meetings, and executive leadership reportingREQUIREMENTS3–5 years of experience in business development, growth, strategy, or within a creative agency environmentStrong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret briefs and identify compelling narrativesA strong creative sensibility with an appreciation for craft, storytelling, and visual presentationExcellent organizational and communication skillsExperience with CRM platforms such as Monday.com or HubSpot is a plusFamiliarity with pitch and proposal developmentStrong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust quickly and maintain long-term partnerships
