Job Title: Senior Java Web DeveloperJob Summary:We are a seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Web Developer with at least 6+ years of experience. This is a remote work position. The Senior Java Web Developer will work on supporting web and API-based software solutions for clients. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, unit/integration testing, and implementing these solutions.Job Requirements:Collaborating with a team of application specialists in supporting our client's enterprise applicationsDeveloping and unit testing REST web services and solutions using https-based web applications. Knowledge of tools like SOAP UI and Postman is a mustTranslating business requirements into code in compliance with defined development standards, including all code documentation and design documentationWriting backend as well as frontend code for web-based applicationsResolving defects in a timely and thorough manner based on SLAs.Assessing and triage issues at various levels based on priority and urgencyEscalating issues to management, as appropriateSimultaneously managing multiple priorities to ensure timelines are metParticipating in cross training and knowledge sharing of best practices, both within and outside of the team.Rapidly learning new applications and technologies as new systems are added to the client programsPromoting teamwork and effective communication.
