This is an exciting opportunity to build a platform from the ground-up with a world-class team of developers and innovators.Job Summary:The Portfolio Manager will play a critical role within the Capital Markets team, overseeing ongoing compliance, reporting, and operational obligations across the Company’s portfolio of financed projects. This individual will act as a central point of ownership and coordination between internal teams (finance, development, construction, operations, legal) and external stakeholders (lenders, tax equity investors, insurers, and advisors) to ensure all financing and project-level requirements are met.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives at the intersection of capital markets, operations, and compliance in a fast-growing infrastructure platform.Responsibilities:Financing Compliance & ReportingLead compliance with all covenants, reporting obligations, and deliverables under corporate credit facilities, project-level debt, and tax equity agreementsOwn the preparation and timely delivery of periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, annual), including financial statements, operating reports, compliance certificates, and investor updatesTrack key dates, milestones, and obligations across all financing agreementsPartner with NineDot colleagues to gather required inputs from finance, development, construction, operations, and legal teamsConstruction Financing & Capital DeploymentManage and execute draw requests under construction loan facilities, including lender coordination and documentation reviewOversee the process of adding new distributed energy projects into existing financing structures (construction debt and tax equity), including satisfaction of conditions precedentCoordinate with internal company stakeholders to ensure readiness for funding milestonesMaintain detailed draw schedules and funding trackersInsurance Management & ComplianceOversee the Company’s insurance program across the project portfolio and corporate level (property, liability, builder’s risk, etc.)Ensure all insurance policies meet requirements under financing agreements and project contractsTrack renewals, certificates, and compliance deliverablesIdentify coverage gaps and coordinate mitigation strategiesBroker & Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary internal point of contact and liaison with the Company’s insurance brokerCoordinate with lenders, tax equity investors, and third-party advisors on compliance, reporting, and operational mattersSupport diligence requests, audits, and ad hoc information needs from financing counterpartiesOther duties as assignedCore Competencies:Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Drives Results - Constantly achieving results, even under tough circumstances.Interpersonal Savvy - Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.Manages Ambiguity - Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.Nimble Learning - Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both success and failures as learning fodderPlans and Aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.Tech Savvy - Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.Required education and experience:5+ years of experience in project finance, asset management, or portfolio management within energy, infrastructure, or IPP platformsStrong hands on experience with tax equity structures, construction financing, and project-level debtExperience managing compliance and reporting under complex financing agreementsUnderstanding of insurance requirements for energy or infrastructure projectsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesExcellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholdersAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills preferredReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.At NineDot Energy, we believe diverse perspectives drive innovation and are the foundation of our success.
