Physician / Family Practice / Connecticut / Locum tenens / Primary Care MD Job

Specialty accepted: Family Practice Physician Start date or shifts: ASAP ongoing Daily schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm; 30 minute lunch. Full time preferred. Will consider part time with minimum 24 hours per week. Practice setting: Outpatient Primary Care Types of procedures: Family practice including chronic care. No procedures required. Number of patients: 18 per day Ages: 5 to 100 Additional information: Provider works alongside Medical Director, two RN charge nurses, and is assigned an LPN. EMR is ECW with training provided if needed. Supervision provided by Medical Director. Minimum 3 years experience preferred but will consider less experience on a case by case basis. Medicaid and Medicare number required prior to presentation. DEA, CSR, ALS, BLS, and Board Certification required. Will consider providers willing to obtain state license and will reimburse licensure with minimum 6 month commitment at 3 days per week. Credentialing timeframe is 6 to 8 weeks and may be expedited under the right circumstances.
