Location: Near Elmwood, TN Overview: We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our new, state-of-the-art Free-Standing Emergency Room (FSER) facility located in a rapidly growing suburban area. This role is ideal for practitioners who are enthusiastic about shaping a new department and delivering top-notch patient care. Position Details: Number of Positions: 3 available Start Date: October 1st, 2025 Duration: 6-12 months Orientation: Includes a shadow day and EMR training Candidate Requirements: Open to new graduates and experienced practitioners Primary Care Physicians with Emergency Medicine experience will be considered Emergency privileges are available Case logs are required Facility Information: ER Bays: 12 Patient Volume: Approximately 1.9 patients per hour Patient Acuity: Lower acuity cases Trauma Center Designation: Not applicable Nurse/APP Triage: Available for lower acuity cases Shift and Staffing: Shift Length: 12 hours Coverage: Both AM and PM shifts required Staffing Model: Single coverage with normal ER support staff ED Admission Rate: Expected to be 5-7% This opportunity offers a unique chance to be part of a team in a new facility with strong backing from a main hospital and local health system, providing an excellent environment for professional growth and patient care.
