Job Title : Embedded Software Engineer (ECU/ECM & Device Drivers) –Location : Mossville, IL (Hybrid)Required Skills:5–8+ years of embedded software development experienceStrong experience in ANSI C programmingReal-time embedded device driver development (must-have)ECU/ECM, RTOS, bootloader, board initializationSPI/I2C, I/O drivers, hardware diagnostics, NVM interfacingGit (ClearCase preferred), Bash, PythonDebugging with oscilloscopes and embedded toolsAgile development experienceBachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldResponsibilities:Design and develop low-level embedded software for ECU/ECM hardwareDevelop device drivers, OS integration, and boot processesAnalyze requirements, write code, perform unit/regression testingTroubleshoot hardware/software integration issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and support technical discussionsLocation: Hybrid – Remote work with mandatory on-site hardware support in Mossville, ILDisqualifiers:Candidates with primary experience in Test Engineering or Controls EngineeringMust have core expertise in embedded software and low-level device driver development
