Purchasing Agent

As a Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for managing the process of sourcing, negotiating and purchasing specific ingredients for the food, beverage, and sports nutrition industries, utilizing a successful methodology while ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods from foreign and domestic suppliers. No experience is necessary. The right attitude and willingness to learn is our top candidate. Responsibilities: - Negotiate and replenish products to ensure adequate supply - Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price and delivery capabilities - Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and service agreements - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements - Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular analysis to identify potential risks or opportunities Skills: - Highly motivated self-starter - Willingness to learn - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions - Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Microsoft Office Products We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience.
