Chief Operating Officer (COO)Goodman Capital | New YorkGoodman Capital is a New York–based real estate private credit investment manager focused on originating senior secured loans backed by high-quality real estate.As the firm continues to expand its investor base and scale its flagship evergreen credit strategy, we are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help build and lead the operational infrastructure of the platform.This is a senior leadership role working directly with the Managing Partners to help scale the firm’s operational systems, investor relations infrastructure, and organizational processes as the business grows.ResponsibilitiesFirm OperationsOversee the operational infrastructure of the firm and ensure the platform scales effectively as assets under management grow.Design and implement systems and processes across operations.Manage relationships with key service providers including fund administrators, auditors, legal counsel, and compliance providers.Oversee operational aspects of investment vehicles including funds, syndications, and SPVs.Investor Relations OversightOversee the firm’s investor relations team and infrastructure.Ensure best-in-class investor communications and reporting.Supervise preparation of investor materials including DDQs, investor presentations, quarterly updates, and data room materials.Ensure smooth investor onboarding and reporting processes.Note: The COO will oversee the investor relations function while the day-to-day execution will be handled by the IR team.Strategic GrowthPartner with the Managing Partners on strategic initiatives as the firm expands.Assist in launching new investment vehicles and expanding distribution channels.Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and the investor experience.Organizational LeadershipOversee internal staff and coordinate responsibilities across teams.Implement systems to improve communication, accountability, and execution across the firm.Assist with recruiting and onboarding key hires.Technology & SystemsOversee CRM and investor communication systems.Identify opportunities to leverage automation and modern technology tools to improve efficiency.Qualifications10+ years of experience in asset management, private credit, private equity, or real estate investment.Experience in a COO, Head of Operations, or senior platform leadership role at an investment firm.Strong understanding of private fund structures and fund operations.Experience interacting with RIAs, family offices, or institutional investors.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.LocationNew York, NYCompensationCompetitive salary plus performance-based incentives aligned with the growth of the firm.
