Partnering closely with Sales, Relationship Management, and internal teams, the COM delivers scalable, client-focused solutions while driving process improvement and risk mitigation. Serving as the primary operational contact for institutional clients, the COM liaises between clients, distribution, and operations to ensure a high-quality client experience. The role resolves day-to-day client inquiries and collaborates with internal subject matter experts on more complex requests.You Will Be Responsible For :Act as the central operational point of contact for institutional clientsPartner with Sales and Relationship Managers to support client servicing and onboardingLead and monitor client onboarding and transitions, ensuring timely executionLiaise across Trading, Legal, Compliance, Investments, Trust, and OperationsResolve daily client inquiries and complex operational issues; escalate risks as neededEnsure delivery against client SLAs and KPIs; track, log, and escalate issuesIdentify process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational risk reductionsProvide regular updates to the Head of Client OperationsStay current on market and regulatory developments affecting client servingDrive continuous improvement, standardization, and scalability initiativesPartner with technology and operations teams to implement automation and data solutionsChampion a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellenceThe Experience You Bring: 8+ years of investment operations experience5+ years of institutional client service experience5+ years of onboarding and account transition experienceStrong understanding of asset management operations, regulatory requirements, and distribution channelsProven ability to lead change, influence without authority, and manage cross‑functional prioritiesExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skillsStrong Excel skills; tech‑savvy mindset preferredInvesco product knowledge a plusStrong verbal and written communication with a transparent, collaborative styleTech‑savvy with strong Microsoft Office skills; advanced Excel preferredAnalytical, structured decision‑maker with sound independent judgmentHigh attention to detail with a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindsetProven ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and complex workloadsClient‑centric approach with credibility in financial servicesStrong interpersonal skills; able to build trust and influence without authorityProactive, “can‑do” attitude with initiative and adaptability to changeComfortable making decisions, resolving issues, and executing realistic plansResults‑driven, self‑motivated, and open to feedback for continuous improvementA Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experienceAdvanced degree or CFA preferredThe salary range for this position in Downers Grove is $145,000 - $155,000/year.
