Job DescriptionElectrical Engineer - Systems Integration/Test - Level 4We are Lockheed MartinThe Electronic Hardware Design (EHD) team develops flightworthy safety critical electronic hardware, embedded software, FPGAs, and test equipment for LM Aero aircraft programs and related needs. We are a co-located team of electrical, mechanical, software, test, and project management engineers under one manager. These EHD disciplines develop requirements, produce detailed designs, qualify, document, develop test equipment for, and establish production build to print suppliers for the products it develops.Responsible for the development and verification of flightworthy safety critical electronic circuit cards, FPGAs, and related test equipment. Will work closely with embedded software engineers, mechanical engineers, specialty engineering, and test engineers integrating the software, hardware, and test stations. May also develop automated test capabilities enabling hardware and softwareverification.Responsible for leading development of electronic hardware architecture, circuit design, layout and mask design, device evaluation and characterization, test equipment design, prototype construction and checkout.Prepares test methods and specifications. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests.Qualifies hardware against requirements. Authors design documentation, test reports, technical analysis.Provides finished device approval and prepares qualification documentation.Leads and develops a team accomplishing these responsibilities.Improves team processes and toolsets.May provide consultation to struggling LM Aero electronic hardware suppliers to improve project performance and resolve technical issues.Help LM Aero develop fully qualified flightworthy electronics at a greatly reduced cost and schedule enabling company to meet increasing customer demands to keep up with adversaries.What's In It For YouWe are committed to supporting your work-life balance and overall well-being, offering flexible scheduling options. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
