C.O.R.E. ABA is looking for a qualified, passionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team of providers! C.O.R.E. ABA is a small agency designed to provide high-quality, ABA programs out of our Center in Bethel, Connecticut (CT). C.O.R.E. stands for "Creating Opportunities for Reinforcing Environments", and we value individuals who will help create and maintain a positive learning atmosphere for our teams. We are proud to work together with families to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. We are seeking a BCBA to supervise our center based ABA programs for children with autism aged 2-12, and providing training and supervision to our team of behavior technicians. After school hours are a required part of this position. We are seeking a BCBA who values client progress, collaborative and compassionate care, and is dedicated to making positive and lasting change.Essential Duties:Develop and implement individualized behavior programming (skill acquisition and replacement behavior skills)Value and prioritize client progress across communication, social, adaptive, and play skillsConduct assessments as required using standard assessment tools (e.g. VB-MAPP) in addition to functional behavioral assessments for each learner.Provide supervision and competency-based training to RBT's and behavior technicians using evidenced based practices on a regular basis. Monitor the implementation, integrity, and efficiency of behavioral and skills programming.Document training, protocol modifications, and progress for each sessionEnsure that programming for the client is appropriately tailored and frequently updated to the child's individual needsEnsure that sessions are focused on the child's motivation and choice!Submit authorization requests and reports based on medical necessity per funding source requirementsTrain parents of children in evidenced-based ABA techniques and provide feedback. Help parents acquire strategies to increase adaptive, social, language and leisure skills and to decrease interfering and severe problem behaviorsResponsible for ensuring program progress, including updating targets, moderate/major revisions to specific programs, keeping team members apprised of all changes and delegation of above tasksGenerate objective and data driven FBAs/BIPs and train staff to implement plans with fidelityMaintain active BCBA certification and licensureContribute to growth of C.O.R.E.
