Brief DescriptionPosition Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Director with a specialized focus on enhancing our beverage programming. In this role, you will oversee The Newes of America and the Pelican Club day-to-day operations while spearheading initiatives to elevate the beverage offerings and enhance the overall guest experience. Secondly, support in the preparation for opening the Pelican Club with the goal of overseeing both restaurants once open.Key ResponsibilitiesBeverage Program Enhancement: Develop and implement strategies to improve the beverage program, aligning it with current industry trends and guest preferences.Menu Curation: Collaborate closely with the culinary team to create innovative beverage menus that complement our cuisine and cater to diverse tastes.Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers and distributors to ensure the availability of high-quality beverages while optimizing costs.Staff Training: Lead and train the service team to deliver exceptional service, educate them on product knowledge, and enhance their understanding of pairings and presentations. Financial Oversight: Participate in the development of budgets, analyze financial performance, and implement strategies to enhance profitability while maintaining quality standards.Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, consistently maintain quality and refine operational processes related to beverage service.Community Engagement: Devise and execute plans to embed the restaurant within the local community through partnerships, events, and initiatives, fostering a sense of belonging and support.RequirementsRequirements:Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, as well as a proven track record in working with multiple outlets.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of beverage trends, market dynamics, and a proven ability to select and source quality products.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and lead teams toward achieving exceptional results.Analytical Acumen: Strong financial acumen, capable of analyzing data to make informed decisions that enhance profitability without compromising quality.Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to liaise effectively with teams, suppliers, and guests.Innovative Mindset: A creative approach to introducing new concepts and driving continuous improvement in the beverage program.SummaryABOUT COLLARED MARTIN HOSPITALITY Established in January 2025, Collared Martin Hospitality operates the Faraway brand, along with a collection of independent lifestyle & luxury boutique hotels, restaurants, and cocktail clubs.
