OFFICE SERVICES SPECIALIST III - GIFT AND RECORDS ADMINISTRATION

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks an Office Services Specialist III for the department of Gift and Records Administration within UAB Advancement. This role provides advanced administrative and office support as well as performs routine and moderately complex clerical duties, supports daily gift and records workflows, assists with document preparation, and ensures accurate handling of donor information. The incumbent serves as a reliable point of contact for internal departments, vendors, and campus partners while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
This is a full-time, on-site position.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs general office duties including scanning, copying, mail distribution, document preparation, and data entry.
Answers phones, routes calls, responds to routine inquiries, and provides excellent service.
Schedule meetings, coordinates calendars, reserves rooms, and prepares meeting materials.
Manages the department email inbox and ensures timely, accurate and professional communication.
Serves as administrative support for donor document preparation and routing.
Handles sensitive donor and financial information with discretion.
Follow departmental procedures and ensures compliance with UAB policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Annual Salary Range: $27,040 - $40,000
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or GED and four (4) years of related experience required.
