This role requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, and strong customer relations skills to help create An Incredible Place To Work and Shop. As a Grocery Stock Associate, you will be responsible for: Processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Grocery Standards. Maintaining clean work areas and providing excellent customer service. Unloading stock and managing salvage items effectively. Qualifications: To perform this role successfully, individuals must meet the following criteria: Must be at least 18 years of age. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset. Willingness to participate in required training to enhance customer satisfaction and sales. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED, with one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write basic correspondence, and effectively present information in English. Mathematical Skills: Capability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform basic operations using American money and weight measurement. Reasoning Ability: Competence in applying common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and to handle problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Certifications: Completion of the Company's training, including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, and product knowledge, is required. Physical Demands: Associates will regularly be required to stand, walk, use hands for various tasks, reach, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The position may require occasional climbing, balancing, crouching, or kneeling, with the regular lifting/moving of items up to 60 pounds. Work Environment: While performing job duties, associates may frequently encounter wet, hot, or cold conditions, moving mechanical parts, and may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.
