Job SummaryThe purpose of this position is to promote Malone University, provide detailed information on our programs, and help students understand admission requirements and procedures.IV. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages assigned territory and prospective student pool through phone, e-mail, texting, social media, cards, letters, and personal contacts for the purpose of increasing inquiries, applicants, and enrolled students; meeting enrollment goals for their territory.Interviews and evaluates admissions candidatesAnswers questions and advises prospective students of procedures and requirements for admissionsSchedules and represents the university at college fairs, youth conventions, church visits, and high school visitsAssists with and participate in all Admissions campus eventsAssists in the entry and updating of prospective student data in the database/CRM system Follows up with prospective students to answer questions and encourage completed applicationsInteracts and works effectively with diverse constituencies, including faculty, academic deans and senior administrators, admissions staff members, students, parents, guidance counselors, youth pastors, pastors and alumni. Other duties as assignedV. Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Sales, Marketing, or related fieldPrevious experience in college admissions, counseling, or related field preferredVII. Working Conditions / Physical DemandsWork generally conducted in an office environmentLight lifting on an infrequent basis (up to 25 pounds)Flexibility in work hours-weekends and evenings. More hours will be required at key times during the recruitment year to complete the job.Must be able to travel in order to represent and promote the educational opportunities provided by Malone
