Job Title : Data Scientist - Predictive AnalyticsLocation : Columbus, Ohio, United StatesJob Type : Full TimeOur Client is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to support forecasting and demand planning initiatives, with a strong focus on volume and contact center forecasting. This role will play a key part in developing and enhancing statistical and predictive models that improve forecasting accuracy, workforce planning, and operational decision‑making. In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams across operations, workforce management, and analytics to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business results.What You’ll DoAnalyze large, complex datasets to improve demand forecasting and operational planningBuild, maintain, and enhance statistical and predictive models for volume and contact center forecastingApply time‑series forecasting, predictive modeling, and scenario analysis to anticipate demandPartner with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve productivity, performance, and customer experienceCreate compelling data visualizations and present insights to both technical and non‑technical audiencesCommunicate forecasts, assumptions, and recommendations to internal teams and occasional external partnersSupport staffing optimization and workforce planning models with guidance from senior team membersPreference may be given to candidates based in the Columbus, OH metropolitan area.Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this role, now or in the future.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience4+ years of experience applying advanced analytics to solve business problemsRequired Skills4+ years of experience in forecasting and statistical modeling, including time‑series analysisStrong proficiency in Python (required) and experience with RAdvanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasetsHands‑on background in data modeling, statistics, and applied mathematicsExperience with cloud‑based data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similarAbility to analyze trends, mine complex transactional data, and troubleshoot analytical challengesExperience delivering analytics‑driven visualizations and insightsComfortable working independently in a collaborative, cross‑functional environmentNice to HaveExperience with contact center analytics, workforce management, or operational forecastingBackground in healthcare, insurance, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environmentsExposure to machine learning, regression, segmentation, NLP, or decision tree methodsFamiliarity with cloud platforms, automation, version control, or model deployment workflowsStrong communication and stakeholder‑management skillsIntellectual curiosity and a continuous learning mindset
