Greeting Guests: Welcome Guests in person or phone in a friendly and timely manner. Providing a positive first impression
Escorts Guests to their table or waiting area for To-GO and provide Menu and Special information
Taking Orders: Take and Coordinate Orders by phone, online and in person
Packaging TO-GO: May assemble food, drink and condiments in TO-GO containers
Answering Phone: Responsible for incoming calls
Managing Reservations: Manage the reservation system and prep tables for service time allotments
Assists Front of House & Back of House when needed
Maintains clean and organized tables, chairs, floors in foyer, patios, restaurant & bar areas
Responsible for processing transactions on Point-of-Sale system
Responsible for keeping up to date with ABC regulations and adhering to established policies and procedures regarding the handling and service of alcoholic beverages
Adheres to all opening, closing, stocking and side work checklist and finishes them in a timely manner as to not hinder the service of the guests.
Maintaining all necessary and/or required certifications and training, including ABC, Serve Safe and any other as required by HVLA.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED, Minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training
Host/Hostess assists with meeting, greeting, seating and taking orders by phone, online in person for the Greenview Bar, Grill & Banquet Guests. They also help to ensure an enjoyable dining experience by providing everything they need while having a positive and upbeat attitude. They will manage reservations, set tables, clean tables and provide items such as guest menus, highchairs, coloring books and crayons.
