Temporary Janitorial/Cleaning

Custodian (Full-Time)Ansley Public Schools is looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking Full-Time Custodian to help us prepare our buildings for the upcoming school year, and keep them in shape all year long. Ansley Public Schools is a small rural PK-12 district that values strong relationships, community involvement, and a positive school culture. Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, gyms, and common areas throughout the buildingStrip, wax, and refinish floors and complete other deep-cleaning tasks not possible during the school yearAssist with summer maintenance projects, furniture moving, and classroom resetsInspect and report facility issues such as lighting, plumbing, or safety concerns to administrationFollow proper procedures for handling and storing cleaning chemicals safelyWork collaboratively with the maintenance team and building administration to meet project timelinesHelp ensure our buildings are fully prepared and welcoming before students return in the fallA strong work ethic and ability to stay on task with minimal supervisionExperience in custodial, janitorial, or general maintenance work is preferred but we are willing to train the right personAbility to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and power washers is a plusSchedule: Full-time, Monday-FridayWe're a small school with a big heart.
