Sheet Metal Assembler/FabricatorLocation: Everett, WAShift: 6:00AM - 4:30PM, M-Th, Overtime on FridayPay: $26-32/hr, depending on experience.Job DescriptionAerotek is hiring experienced sheet metal assemblers for a long-term opportunity in a fast-paced construction-type environment. This role involves hands-on work assembling structural metal building panels using a variety of tools and equipment. Ideal candidates will have experience in roofing, carpentry, mechanical assembly, or general trades and are looking to grow their career in a stable, high-demand field.ResponsibilitiesAssemble structural metal panels and building componentsOperate hand and power tools safely and effectivelyUse measuring devices such as squares and tape measures accuratelyPerform material handling tasks, including lifting up to 70 lbsFollow blueprints, verbal instructions, and written work proceduresMaintain safety and cleanliness in the workspaceParticipate in the development of repeatable shop processesWork under deadlines to complete projects efficientlyPerform other general labor and assembly duties as assignedEssential Skills2+ years of relevant experience (carpentry, roofing, metalwork, or mechanical assembly)Ability to select and operate the right tools for the jobComfortable working in various physical positions (standing, kneeling, stooping, overhead work, etc.)Reliable transportation and strong attendance recordMust be able to provide work history and references for the last 25 yearsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
