Contract Position | Omaha, NECompensation: $2,500 per 10-week cohortProgram Length: 10 WeeksSchedule: Thursdays, 4:30 PM – 7:00 PMFormat: In-PersonReports to: Chief Operating OfficerRising CEOs After-School ProgramThe MAC Chamber is seeking an engaging, dependable, and passionate Contract Program Instructor to lead our Rising CEOs After-School Program, a 10-week entrepreneurship and leadership development program designed for high school students.This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about youth development, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and creating meaningful community impact. If you enjoy working with young people and helping students build confidence, leadership skills, and business knowledge, we encourage you to apply.Program OverviewRising CEOs is a 10-week after-school entrepreneurship and leadership program for high school students. The program introduces students to:Entrepreneurship and business fundamentalsLeadership developmentFinancial literacyCommunication and presentation skillsCareer readiness and professionalismTeamwork, networking, and confidence-buildingWhat You'll DoTeach weekly in-person Rising CEOs sessions for high school students.Deliver engaging and interactive program curriculum and activities.Foster a positive, safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.Build strong relationships with students and encourage participation.Recruit program speakers and facilitate sessions.Support students in developing leadership, communication, and entrepreneurial skills.Grade homework assignments, review business plans and pitch decks.Track attendance and communicate regularly with MAC Chamber staff.Participate in instructor onboarding and training sessions.What We're Looking ForPassionate about youth empowerment and leadership development.Comfortable leading and engaging groups of high school students.Energetic, professional, patient, and dependable.Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills.Able to create a safe, motivating, and supportive environment for students.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in:BusinessMarketingFinanceAccountingEducationManagementOR2–5 years of equivalent professional experience in teaching, youth development, entrepreneurship, mentoring, coaching, training, or program facilitation.Additional Preferred ExperienceExperience working with youth or young adults.Experience facilitating workshops, classrooms, or group learning environments.Entrepreneurial or business experience is a plus.Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.Important RequirementsBackground checks will be required for all selected instructors.Ability to reliably attend weekly Thursday evening sessions throughout the 10-week program.Professional Development OpportunitySelected instructors will receive training to become a Kauffman FastTrac Facilitator, providing valuable nationally recognized facilitation training and professional development experience.Compensation$2,500 per 10-week cohortOpportunity for future contract opportunities with the MAC Chamber.J-18808-Ljbffr
