Account Manager – Dropship / Off-price

Each year over 70,000 wax garments are sent back to Barbour globally to be repaired, rewaxed or altered.Position Overview:We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Manager – Dropship and Off-price to join the Barbour team. The Account Manager will lead, drive and develop Barbour’s dropship business. You will develop and implement solutions to achieve sales and profitability goals. This position is based in our New York City office/showroom.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position requires strong analytical skills, presentation skills, strategic thinking and experience with wholesale digital sales platforms. Experience with dropship (VDF) management is requiredLead the development and execution of dropship businesses with wholesale partnersPartner with internal and external partners to ensure drop ship businesses are running smoothlyAnalyse and recap weekly account business to identify profitable growth opportunitiesBuild strong relationships with internal and external teamsSupport all marketplace operations, including seller onboarding, assortment optimization, content quality and day to day business managementPartner with Key Account Executives to manage performance driven by dropship; reorders, by state, selling events, markdown cadences, EDIs/shipping, in-store, and site merchandisingIdentify and unlock growth opportunities through a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, competitive benchmarks and evolving industry best practicesSupport market set up and breakdown in NY Showroom, managing merchandising and showroom standardsManage business relationships with off price accountsPrepare and communicate ATS packages to off price accountsConduct line presentation and meetings with key customersEnter and track ordersPartner with inside sales team on order entry, EDIs, timely shipments, sample distribution, and dropship requirementsSkills and Experience: College Degree requiredExperience in wholesale sales background within the fashion industryStrong written, verbal and interpersonal skillsExperience working with cross-functional teamsBe well organized, able to multi-task and prioritize time effectivelyExpertise in Microsoft ExcelConfident and adaptable team player with a desire to learnResults drivenBenefits: Competitive salary packageFully covered benefits including medical, dental, life and disability.
