This role bridges product management, finance, and engineering, ensuring efficient cloud spend while enabling scalable and high-performing systems.Key Responsibilities• Product Ownership & Strategy• Own and manage the FinOps product roadmap aligned with business and engineering goals• Define product vision for cloud cost optimization and financial governance• Translate business requirements into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria• Prioritize backlog based on ROI, cost savings, and business impact• Cloud Cost Optimization• Drive initiatives for cost reduction, budgeting, and forecasting• Implement strategies like:• Rightsizing• Reserved Instances / Savings Plans• Auto-scaling optimization• Idle resource cleanup• Monitor and optimize spend across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)• FinOps GovernanceRequired Skills & Qualifications• 6+ years of experience in Product Owner / Product Manager role• Strong experience in Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)• Hands-on exposure to FinOps / Cloud Cost Management• Good understanding of:• Billing models (On-demand, Reserved, Spot)• Cloud architecture & services• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
