Star Construction, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, punctual, and courteous individual for a Assistant Construction Supervisor to join our residential construction and remodeling team. This is a full time position with the potential to grow into a supervisory position in a growing home construction project.

Start Times: Summer Hours: 7:30am | Winter Hours: 8:00am
Primary Responsibilities Hands -On Role with day to day field work
Maintains a clean job site both inside and on the exterior of homes: pick up all debris, tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
Maintains a clean project site on a daily basis
Directly helps coordinate and control project field operations and trades
Helps Maintain Project Schedule, Quality, Safety and Security
Material handling and storage
Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials
In conjunction with owner, development of project master schedule and advising on issues that have impact on project schedule
Hands on labor as needed to complete the job and keep project moving forward
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be able to present at least one professional reference
Pass drug screening and background check
1 year on-the-job experience in residential home construction labor or general labor
Ability to effectively communicate with professional contractors and skilled trades
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
OSHA Training - Strongly Preferred
Physically able to lift heavy loads
Highly disciplined and able to follow instructions
Strong problem resolution skills
Task and goal orientation
