Pay: $2,037 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB DESCRIPTION RN - PACU Shift: 10hr Day Shift - 40 Shift Information: 0700-1900 Clinical Interviewing- Yes/No: Yes - Manager Final review On Call, Call Back Requirements: None Weekend Rotation: No Holiday Requirements: All Holidays Floating Requirements: None About Facility: Charlotte, NC 28204 Unit Information: Rooms: 3 PACU rooms in procedure suite 2 procedure rooms procedures blocked to an hour 1 room does awake/oral procedure 5 anesthesia procedures a day 4 non-anesthesia procedures in afternoon Guaranteed break 11-1130 12:30-1:30 last anesthesia case of the day Operates similar to an endoscopy suite Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Embryo transfers Egg retrieval Hysteroscopy Occasional D&C Required License, National Certification, Certs: BLS ACLS Patient Ratios: 1:1 nurse follows patient through peri-op from pre-op to discharge. Skills required: Outpatient procedures experience, sedation/conscious sedation, comfortable with PACU process, Aldrete scoring proficient with IV starts, EMR documentation, rooming and discharging patients, discharge education Support within the Department: 8 Md's with the practice, up to 3 present in the procedure suite Lisa is available around the procedure suite all day, Carissa may or may not be present Outpatient clinic supervisor and clerical supervisor available at the clinic as well Always 2 supervisors on site Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC required IV Pumps: no pumps, just gravity Med Dispensing: Omnicell Floating: If yes, where: No floating Orientation (facility and unit): NEO At least 2 weeks Other notes: Scrub Color: provided Parking: Free Unit Culture: close knit team, team potlucks for holiday, posters of birthdays each month, team shout outs TB_RN ZRHC Why TalentBurst?
