You lead by example on the sales floor,uphold Claire’s Clinical Piercing Standards, and ensure piercing services are executedwith precision, consistency, and care.You reinforce selling behaviors, elevate piercing and retail performance, and supportoperational excellence while fostering a positive, accountable team environment. Throughconfident coaching and strong execution, you help your team deliver exceptional guestexperiences — from informed piercing consultations to trend-driven styling moments.ResponsibilitiesPiercing Excellence | Clinical Standards Deliver professional ear-piercing services in accordance with Claire’s ClinicalPiercing Standards and safety protocols. Follow all sterilization, hygiene, and infection-prevention procedures with precisionand consistency before, during, and after every service. Educate guests and guardians through informed consent, eligibility screening, andclear aftercare instructions. Maintain certification requirements and complete ongoing piercing skilldevelopment training.Customer Experience | Brand Ambassador Inspire customers and teammates through confident brand storytelling. Consistently deliver friendly, engaging services that keep customers coming backand build loyalty to the brand. Lead by example on the sales floor, demonstrating strong selling behaviors andstyling expertise. Address customer concerns with empathy and escalate appropriately whenneeded. Contribute to meeting and/or exceeding all KPI goals and objectives for the store byproviding best-in-class service.Sales Performance | Results Drive shift-level piercing and retail conversion, ensuring strong product attachmentand consistent service execution across the team. Coach associates in real time to improve consultation quality, attachmentbehaviors, and overall selling eUectiveness. Support execution of promotions, campaigns, and sales-driving initiatives. Use product knowledge and trend awareness to influence purchasing decisions. Consistently meet or exceed all store sales, piercing, and conversion goals.People | Team Leadership Build strong relationships with peers and contribute to a positive, inclusive, andhigh-energy team culture. Reinforce selling standards, service expectations, and brand behaviors. Support the coaching and motivation of Sales Associates through real-timefeedback. Act as a role model for reliability, professionalism, and accountability.Operations | Shift Leadership Open and close the store and manage cash handling accurately. Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure stock areas are organized. Support shipment processing, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety and lossprevention practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store that reflects Claire’s brandstandards and creates a great shopping experience. Strong customer service and selling skills. Ability to provide feedback and guidance to peers in a supportive way. Comfort operating POS systems and handling cash accurately.Operational & Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise (up to 25–75 lbs as required). Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and use ladders or step stools safely. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Additional Requirements Must become a certified Claire’s Piercing Specialist and perform piercings in strictaccordance with documented clinical, safety, and hygiene standards. Demonstrate controlled, standardized piercing technique with precision andadherence to placement, sanitation, and safety protocols, maintaining professionalcomposure with pediatric and first-time guests. Strong verbal communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed.
