Quality Assurance Manager

We are conducting a confidential search for a Quality Manager with a company that is a global supplier of industrial components to the automotive, aerospace, and off-road markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is located in the metro Cleveland area.Key responsibilities will include:-Manage and directs the daily activities of the Quality Department Studies, recommends for approval and implements Quality policies, procedures and required documentation-Coordinate AS9100, maintains registration and executes all job responsibilities in accordance with AS9100-Oversees the preparation of FMEA, control plans and instruction sheets-Ensures staff is trained and knowledgeable in the areas of quality policies, procedures, safety, environmental standards and continuous improvement-Issue debits for Vendors Quality concerns and issues through the Quality Dept. sign-off on customer’s debits and quality invoices-Maintain and report out monthly to Executive Management on Quality Metrics-Monitor external customer Quality Issues and Corrective ActionTarget Qualifications:● Bachelors degree● 3+ years experience in Quality Engineering● QMS experience with AS9100● Experience in the manufacturing environment with highly engineered components● Previous supervisory experience preferred
