Lean Technician I
Position SummaryEssential FunctionsSupport Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, Visual Management)Participate in and support kaizen events and improvement workshopsHelp identify and eliminate waste (motion, waiting, defects, overproduction, etc.)Maintain 5S standards and conduct regular auditsAssist in data collection and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs)Help update and maintain visual boards, Team Improvement Boards, and daily management systemsSupport problem-solving activities using basic Lean tools (A3s, root cause analysis, PDCA)Train operators on Lean tools and new standard processesWork closely with production teams to support safety and quality improvementsAssist in sustaining improvements after implementationRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environmentBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing conceptsAbility to work on the shop floor in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsBasic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint or similar)Preferred QualificationsLean certification (Yellow Belt or equivalent)Experience with Kaizen events or continuous improvement projectsFamiliarity and experience with creating/updating visual management and daily management systemsExperience in safety, quality, or production support rolesEqual Employment OpportunityParker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
