Option to serve as a clinical preceptor with academic appointment J1 or H1B Visa Sponsorship if NecessaryAbout this Role: Psychiatrist Martinsburg, WV - 20 mins from the VA Border! Easy access to Winchester VA, Washington DC, or Baltimore! Flexible work schedule - Full time, Outpatient 14-18 patients per day Team of 3 Psychiatrists, 3 PMHNP, 11 therapist Ability to demonstrate courteous and cooperative behavior with patients, families, co-workers, subordinates, supervisors, and other department staff. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times according to policies and procedures; uses discretion when discussing patient matters. Solid communication skills, including listening and the ability to demonstrate empathy, rapport building, and patience. Ability to provide crises intervention as needed Background Desired: Psychiatrist Must be a M.D. or D.O. Must be board certified or board eligible. Must be licensed or eligible for license in the state of West Virginia. Must have excellent communication skills and basic computer skills. Must maintain licensure and comply with continuing education requirements stipulated by applicable credentialing boards J1 or H1B Visa Sponsorship If Necessary
