Maintenance TechnicianBrunner & Lay, Inc.Springdale, ARFull-Time | Onsite | No Travel | Pay DOEAbout the RoleBrunner & Lay is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Springdale, Arkansas. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment in a heavy industrial environment.You will work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient production.What You Will DoTroubleshoot and repair CNC machines, grinding machines, forging equipment, and overhead cranesPerform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipmentDiagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issuesAssist with basic PLC troubleshootingSupport equipment installation and upgradesComplete maintenance documentation accurately and timelyFollow all OSHA and company safety requirementsWhat We Are Looking ForRequired:Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing settingExperience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumaticsBasic electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read blueprints and schematicsStrong problem-solving skillsPreferred:Experience with CNC equipmentPLC troubleshooting experienceExperience in forging or heavy manufacturingTechnical certification or trade school trainingPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance or equipmentAbility to stand, bend, and walk for extended periodsComfortable working in an industrial plant environmentWork conditions include exposure to:Hot presses, ovens, and heated steelTemperatures that may exceed 100°FMetal filings and moving machineryModerate to high noise levelsRequired use of PPE at all timesEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredTechnical training preferredWhy Brunner & LayBrunner & Lay is a family-owned manufacturer serving the mining, demolition, and construction industries for over 140 years.
