We believe that identifying, attracting, developing, and retaining talent are significant actions because our people are so important.The Machine Maintenance Technician will work in cooperation with all departments to coordinate the safety, maintenance, and equipment needs of the facility. Responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure facility and manufacturing equipment operates efficiently and reliably.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain, fix, service, overhaul or replace defective parts, for the highest quality and longest life of assigned equipment.Ensure assigned equipment is in accordance with manufactured and company specifications.Make preventative maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipment. Report to supervisor and take appropriate action.Assist and guide service personnel, including lift operators, truck drivers, and welders, in adhering to standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including greasing, oiling, and replacing filters, belts, and other equipment components.May operate equipment during relief periods and while troubleshooting equipment.QualificationsHigh School degree required or equivalent.1-3+ years' experience in a manufacturing, work environment.Valid Driver's License.Knowledge, Skills & AttributesRequires hands-on experience and training with Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical Wiring and NEC code, and PLC programming.Must have good working knowledge of machining and welding.Knowledge of geometric and precision measuring tools is required.Must have understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions.Ability and capability to deal with complex equipment problems.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Physical DemandsThe employee may be asked to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to inside temperature with no climate control and outside weather conditions.The employee is regularly exposed to explosives (explosives at Owen Oil Tools only).Core Laboratories, including all of its affiliated and related entities, is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.
