Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoSupervise the production operators as they shear, bend, and load rebar to customer specificationsManage annual reviews, coach, and counsel shop employees with regard to employee relations issues and development opportunitiesSet production requirements based on customer needs and ensures the productive flow of material throughout the shopEnsure stock materials are received from loader and inspected for uniformity and attachment of inventory tags, SAP tags, and partial tags on open bundlesDirect and ensure production reports are completed for each shiftDirect interview processes and coordinate training of new shop employeesPartner with the Safety Manager to direct safety meetings and ensures ongoing safety training for all shop employeesWhat You'll NeedMinimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required5 years industry related experience, preferredConstruction Superintendent experience a plusExcellent communication skills in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this roleProficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPointYour Education* High School Diploma or GED required* Bachelor's degree preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
