The company is increasingly winning recognition as a great place to work, earning several workplace and wellness awards, including the 2025 Great Place to Work Award for our employee-first focus and our steadfast commitment to diversity, equity and Inclusion.C&F is part of Fairfax Financial Holdings, a global, billion dollar organization.For more information about Crum & Forster, please visit our website: www.cfins.com.Job DescriptionInformation about the Role, Line of Business and Team:The Internal Communications Manager, is responsible for supporting and executing internal communications across corporate functions (Marketing & Corporate Communications, areas of Human Resources, Finance, IT, Cyber Security, Risk and Legal) and C&F Business Divisions as requested.The role is instrumental in heightening employee awareness, understanding and engagement around corporate and division initiatives and activities and in positioning C&F as an as Employer of Choice — both internally and externally — where employees can learn, grow and maximize their potential.What you will do:With support and direction from the AVP, Internal Communications, provide strategic internal communications execution support to C&F's Corporate Functions and Business Divisions.Help develop and execute communication and engagement strategies that align with Corporate Function and/or Division goals and objectives, ensuring consistent and effective messaging to employees, maintaining relevant KPIs and metrics on activitiesCollaborate on all project phases from brainstorming through execution, delivery and measurement across all communication channels, including internal email campaigns and intranet content, video scripts, social posts, and assets related to virtual and in-person events as needed.Execute communication and engagement strategies specifically for the Marketing and Corporate Communications function, measuring communication engagement and employee knowledge about the function and how it can support business needsHelp manage writing and/or editing for the Corporate Functions, including award submissions, all-company emails, intranet copy and targeted messaging, as requestedAssist in creation of visual assets to support communications with measurable engagementSupport internal employee events (virtual and onsite), as neededHelp maintain a Corporate Functions communications calendar/tracker so that all corporate employee messaging is scheduled appropriatelySupport and contribute to division-wide internal communications strategy and tactical execution, working cross-functionally to ensure employees are informed, engaged, and feel connected to our culture, mission and visionAssist with the management of our Workvivo-based intranet platform to make it easy for employees to stay informed and engagedOther duties as assignedPlease note: Candidates will be asked to provide writing samples and will also be required to complete a communications exercise.What YOU will bring to C&F:Excellent writing and communication skills, with solid knowledge of AP styleWorking knowledge of Adobe PhotoShopExperience in serving as an internal communications business partner a plusConsultant and collaborative mindset with a strong client focus, able to ask probing questions and offer effective communication solutions to business needs - "see around the corner" mentalityAn eye for design with the ability to produce creative solutions to for impactful messagesKnowledge of traditional communications platforms and emerging trendsExcellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $64,700.00 to a maximum of $121,600.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range.
