Seeking an OB/GYN for an outpatient locum opportunity in the Rancho Mission Viejo, CA area. Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYNCoverage Need: Maternity leave (minimum 3 months) with potential extensionSchedule: 4 days/week preferred, can accommodate 5 days/week if neededClinic hours: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM 5:00 PMNo call, no inpatient responsibilities; 100% outpatientLOCALS strongly preferredLocums-to-perm option availableCommon Procedures/Case Types: Abscess or cyst drainage/aspiration, Breast and pelvic exams, Cervical biopsies, colposcopy, Chemical/electrocautery of lesions, Cystoscopy, hysteroscopy, Endometrial ablation and biopsies, Epidermal cyst removal (Bartholin s Gland), Focused abdominal/transvaginal ultrasounds, Hormone replacement therapy, IUD and subdermal contraceptive insertions/removals, Pap tests, well-woman exams. LEEP, IV insertion, subcutaneous anesthesiaCA licensed (or in process)Comfortable with full scope of listed outpatient GYN proceduresAvailable for at least 3-month assignmentInterested in locums-to-perm transition (optional)Well-supported office with standard OB/GYN resourcesRate: 150/hr, malpractice and mileage coveredPlease refer to Job ID # 5906
