As a family-owned company, we have built our business by providing the highest quality products and superior service to our customers.ResponsibilitiesWorks under the direction of the General and Operations ManagerCollaborate with the outside salesperson to develop and implement sales strategies to meet branch sales goalsCommunicate with customers via phone, email, and other channels to understand their needs, provide product information, and address inquiries or concernsConduct 10+ daily outbound sales calls to prospects and existing customers to generate leads, promote products, and secure ordersBuild and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support throughout the sales processAssist customers with order placement, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules, ensuring accuracy and satisfactionCoordinate closely with the outside salesperson to follow up on leads, provide sales support, and facilitate customer visits or meetingsProcess orders accurately and efficiently using our CRM system or order management softwareMonitor sales metrics, track progress against targets, and provide regular updates to the sales team and managementCollaborate with other departments such as logistics, finance, and customer service to resolve issues and ensure smooth order fulfillmentStay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities and drive growthEnsure pricing and packing slip matches when receiving or shipping materialDetermine appropriate billing situations: COD/Cash/CC/InvoiceResponsible for daily credit card processing needs and EOM report for credit card salesProvide consistent communication with warehouse personnel to ensure customer needs are metAssist in warehouse and additional functions per General or Operations ManagerCollect mail, faxes and Federal Express and distributeQualificationsHigh school Diploma1-2 years of inside sales experienceMust possess excellent communication skillsDetail OrientedDetailed knowledge of industry processes, materials and costs are vital.
