Pay Range $93k- $112
Are you a driven, hands-on Process Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a high-energy team player to join our Greer, SC Insulation team and help improve processes, enhance product quality, and drive continuous improvement across our plant.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and safety teams to make a real impact on plant performance.
Manage/Supervise Quality Control Technicians and Chemical Mixers.
Oversee all laboratory operations and testing activities. Implement and maintain raw material and finished product specifications. Review, analyze, and interpret all sampling, testing, and physical property data.
Develop, implement, and maintain operating methods and procedures to eliminate operating issues and improve product quality and production efficiency. Coordinate and lead plant production trials, including control of process parameters and comprehensive data collection
Research and implement process improvements through enhanced training, equipment modifications, and improved raw material utilization
Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to identify root causes of nonconformities and operational issues
Adjust product formulations to optimize production performance and ensure conformance to specification

Coordinate and correspond with regulatory and code compliance bodies, including preparation for and participation in inspection. Report all quality control activities, issues, and performance metrics to the Corporate Technical Manager

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field
Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or quality control preferred
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety programs, and quality systems
Be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations, as well as write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Proven experience managing or supervising technical staff
Exposure to people management or team leadership preferred
