Junior Java Developer

Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain Java applications based on business requirements.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues.Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality improvements.Collaborate with senior developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.Work with databases to design, query, and optimize data storage solutions.Support application deployment and maintenance activities.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.0–2 years of experience in Java development.Strong understanding of Core Java concepts, OOP principles, and data structures.Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.Understanding of frameworks like Spring Boot or Hibernate is an added advantage.Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Maven or Gradle build tools.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.Relevant certifications in Java development are an advantage.
