Our mission is simple: create opportunities for talent to flourish and San Diego to shine.Guided by the Right to Dream model and grounded in the Sycuan Tribe’s deep roots, we are proud to honor our history while championing emerging excellence as we build for the future.SUMMARYSan Diego FC is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Premium Sales to lead strategic revenue generation across the Club’s premium product portfolio, including suites, premium memberships, and hospitality experiences.This role is responsible for owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting through long-term account growth, while developing and executing strategies to drive high-value partnerships. The ideal candidate is a proven seller with experience closing complex deals, building relationships with senior decision-makers, and consistently exceeding revenue targets.This individual will serve as a leader within the sales organization, contributing to team success through mentorship, best practice sharing, and collaboration with leadership on go-to-market strategy. This role offers significant earning potential tied to performance.RESPONSIBILITIESDrive significant revenue growth through the sale of premium seating, suites, and hospitality packages, with a focus on high-value and multi-year agreementsOwn and manage a portfolio of premium clients, leading renewal, upsell, and long-term relationship strategiesProspect and develop new business through targeted outreach, networking, and strategic account planning across key industries and verticalsLead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, including C-level decision-makers, and position San Diego FC as a long-term partnerDevelop and execute sales strategies that align with organizational revenue goals and market opportunitiesPartner with leadership to provide insights on pricing, packaging, and premium product development based on client feedback and market trendsCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and service teams to deliver a best-in-class premium experienceServe as a mentor and resource to junior sales team members, supporting onboarding, deal strategy, and skill developmentMaintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and client data within CRM systemsRepresent San Diego FC at matches, events, and industry functions to build relationships and drive business opportunitiesConsistently demonstrate professionalism, executive presence, and a client-first approach in all interactionsREQUIREMENTSCandidates can meet the qualifications for this role with a combination of education, experience and skills:Bachelor’s Degree required6 to 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in sports, hospitality, or B2B environments with a focus on premium or high-value offeringsProven track record of exceeding revenue targets and closing high-value deals, including multi-year agreementsExperience managing complex sales cycles and engaging with senior and executive-level decision-makersStrong business acumen, with the ability to develop sales strategies, manage pipelines, and forecast revenue effectivelyDemonstrated ability to build and grow long-term client relationships that drive retention and expansionExcellent communication and presentation skills, with strong executive presenceExperience mentoring or supporting the development of other sales professionals is preferredHighly motivated, resourceful, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityAbility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and events as neededABOUT SAN DIEGO FC:We value community, diversity, and acting with purpose.
