This is a high-ownership role for a true seller—someone who thrives in outbound sales, builds strong relationships, and delivers results in a high-velocity environment.You’ll be responsible for owning the entire sales cycle—from cold outreach to deal closing—and for sourcing the best second-hand e-bikes in your territory through retail and brand partnerships.What you will doOwn the full partner lifecycle: from cold outreach to onboarding, relationship management, and performance trackingDrive outbound sales: perform high-volume prospecting via email, phone, and in-person visits—especially in the first 1–2 monthsBuild and grow our partner network in your region, including independent bike shops, large retailers, and OEMsSource and negotiate the best possible inventory of second-hand electric bikesTravel extensively to meet with partners, understand their needs, and build long-term relationshipsAct as the face of Upway in the market—representing our brand with professionalism, integrity, and passionCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer and partner experienceDeliver against ambitious targets while maintaining a high standard of execution and attention to detailWhat you will need3+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, sourcing, or partner management, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environmentProven track record of owning a sales pipeline and closing dealsExceptional communication and negotiation skills—you know how to build trust and influence decisionsHigh energy and self-motivation—you’re comfortable working independently, managing your time, and pushing through ambiguityExperience with in-person client interactions and field salesStrong organizational skills and bias for actionPassion for sustainability, mobility, and making an impactWillingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) and be based full-time in Redondo Beach, CABenefitsBe part of a mission-driven company shaping the future of mobilityWork alongside passionate, high-performing teammates in the US and EuropeOwn your region and make a real impact on growth from Day 1Competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunitiesWork in a fast-moving environment where your input is valued and your results are visible
