Fast growing firm seeks Probate and Estate Administration Attorney Full Time | New York and or New JerseyGoldburd McCone LLP is seeking a full time Probate Attorney with at least 3-5 years of experience handling both contested and uncontested probate matters. This is a remote role. This role is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable managing files independently, appearing in court, and supervising the preparation and review of pleadings prior to filing.RequirementsAdmitted to practice in New York or New JerseyAdmission in both states is strongly preferred3 to 5 years+ of experience in probate and estate administrationExperience handling contested matters, including objections and hearingsExperience handling uncontested probate and administration proceedingsAbility to independently manage a caseload from intake through decreeCourt appearance experienceStrong drafting and document review skillsResponsibilitiesManage probate and administration matters from start to finishAppear in Surrogate’s Court proceedings in NY and or NJReview petitions, affidavits, citations, waivers, accountings, and related filingsCommunicate with clients, distributees, fiduciaries, and court personnelWork collaboratively with paralegals and junior attorneysIdentify procedural or strategic issues early in a matterThis is a growth opportunity within a fast paced practice serving high level clients in estate and fiduciary matters.
