Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and dedicatedNurse Supervisorto lead clinical teams and enhance the quality of patient care. This leadership role is responsible for planning and developing programs that improve both patient outcomes and employee performance across nursing units.Responsibilities Plan and implement programs to improve patient care quality and staff performance Monitor and evaluate patient care standards across units Collaborate with Nurse Managers to assess unit performance Communicate findings and assist with corrective action plans when needed Develop and maintain a record-keeping system to track medication errors and counseling interventions Support compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policiesQualifications Minimum of 7 years of nursing experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role 2 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (Assistant DON) required Behavioral Health experience required Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to implement quality improvement initiatives Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program (required) Master’s degree in nursing (preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York (required) Primary Source Verification of License and Registration as a Registered Professional Nurse from the New York State Department of Education (NYSED) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationImportant Details: 14-week contract position 5x7 hrs.
