Technical Program Manager
Job DescriptionDark Wolf is seeking a Technical Program Manager to be responsible for leading, managing, and delivering complex engineering and technical initiatives for our commercial and defense customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of program execution, cybersecurity, and technical delivery, as well as experience in guiding cross-functional engineering teams, managing technical risks, and translating mission requirements into scalable operational solutions.Responsibilities:Drive and oversee program and project execution, technical delivery, and milestone management across software, hardware, and cybersecurity initiativesWork with customers, government stakeholders, and internal project team members to understand mission requirements and translate them into actionable engineering tasks and delivery roadmapsDevelop and maintain program management artifacts, risk management registers, resource allocations, and budget tracking toolsCoordinate and direct multi-disciplinary engineering teams, including software, cloud, and security specialists, to meet technical objectivesEnsure technical solutions align with security best practices and federal compliance guidelines throughout the delivery lifecycleStay up-to-date on emerging technologies, defense frameworks, and industry trends and their applicability to the Public Sector spaceRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field3 years of experience in program or project management for Senior Associate level, 8 years for Principal level or higher3 years of experience leading technical engineering teams, 5 years for Principal level or higherStrong understanding of software development lifecycles, systems engineering, and modern technology paradigmsExperience leading technical teams including delegating tasks, reviewing deliverables, and coaching team membersExperience managing program budgets, resource allocation, and risk management across technical portfoliosExperience developing program management plans, driving operational decisions, developing documentation artifacts, and presenting technical briefs to clients and executive level leadersExperience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and Agile delivery frameworksExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skillsAbility to work collaboratively with the broader team as well as independentlyUS Citizenship and ability to maintain Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:At least one Google Cloud Professional CertificationExperience working with customers in the U.S. Public Sector, Department of Defense (DoD), or Intelligence Community (IC)U.S. Federal Government security clearanceExperience with DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies, Risk Management Framework (RMF), or FedRAMPActive Secret clearance or higherProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationTechnical background or operational familiarity with cybersecurity platforms, cloud architecture, or autonomous systemsThe estimated salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 commensurate on years of experience and technical interview.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity, confirm US Citizenship, and complete the required employment eligibility verification upon hire.We are strictly looking for direct, full-time W2 employees.
